About Reminis LinkshellReminis is a social & casual endgame Linkshell community. We provide a wide variety of activities and a social atmosphere for our members, with an objective to bring the fun back from the good ol' nostalgia days. No stringent lifestyles and rules of endgame Linkshells that made this game like a second job. A place where we can talk about silly things and be goofy without being judged. The freedom to choose what to do with people you enjoy adventuring with, without the obligations and commitment to Linkshell events. We hope to present enjoyable and unique experiences to the casual player, as well as provide incentives for doing the activities you like from merit parties to endgame. Just to give you an idea of what we are about, let us reminisce of our past days. Remember those days where you can freely spend time with your friends without those Linkshell obligations and just tag along doing things like missions and NM fights? We want to bring this freedom back! How about those days when Sky gods was actually a challenge? Why not spice it up and let's fight him in only AF armor like back in the days! We don't want to do the same boring drill like any endgame shell. The vision for Reminis is to bring back the beginning days when people actually worked and achieve together, minus the selfishness and rudeness. We have formed this Linkshell with people sharing common interest and ideals, and hoping to seek for more like-minded individuals in this world. Common interest such as finding satisfaction helping one another accomplish their goals and return the same favor (because we want to, not because we are obligated to) are what we look for. Our long term goal is to have fun and achieve together as a Linkshell, and to provide each other help and support in overcoming obstacles together. Linkshell Activity System We have a web site running a custom designed activity system where members can create their own in-game activity, or sign up in official Linkshell activities that are planned weekly. All our activities are not posted in game, but rather easily accessed through this web site. Activity times can vary from spontaneous or scheduled, with clear objectives defined as well as potential rewards for participation (It is very similar to a quest system). When you have 3 or more linkshell members participating in an activity, your time and efforts are credited and it can be anything from EXP/Merit parties, missions, battlefields, or endgame content. You are free to choose to participate in any activity you want to do, even during Linkshell activities! YES you heard it right, and we're not here to penalize you and fill you with obligations of common endgame rules. We are not here to own your soul. There's no need to use your rolodex of excuses to get away from Linkshell activities. Do what is fun with your time here. Credit Distribution System Our system rewards participation in our endgame content through a mix of point awards and participation in Linkshell activity. Instead of a point based system where the hoarders rule the right to lot, we incorporated two factors that determine lotting priority, using credits and item reservation (like a wishlist). The point system works totally differently in which we earn based on the treasures we obtain, which we call credits. Credits are earned when the Linkshell and its members obtain items from activities. Item can be synthesis materials to rare/ex equipment claimed by a member, which are assigned a credit value. All the item's credit values are tallied up at the end of the activity; with the item claimers deducted of the credit cost associated of the item they claimed first, and then the total divided proportionally to each member based on their participation. This distribution system circulates the credits around our members and gives everyone a chance at claiming the things they desire. Objective Points (OP) are points awarded for successful completion of an objective within an activity. A larger amount of OPs are given for Linkshell endgame activities, but casual activities will also yield OP, such as aiding or completing a mission/quest together as an example. These points are used to measure your success in helping the linkshell and as a reward, you may use these points to reserve an item. Once you have an item on your reservation, it will grant you a higher priority of that item by putting you next in line. Our website will track all this information, so you won't need to worry with the calculation. Unique Themes On certain days, certain activities may be themed with a unique objective. Additional bonuses will be provided to members who fulfill this objective. As mentioned above, fighting Genbu as a group with only wearing AF armor is an example! We have quite a lot of ideas in mind, and we hope that you are interested in participating in our crazy ideas (Or help us with unique ideas of your own too)! We have a core of fun and silly people in our Linkshell, providing activities and social interaction to promote a clean and fun environment. Still not sure? If you have any more questions, please feel free to visit our FAQ section or contact a member or officer directly for questions. |
